TM 30 is a compulsory house owner duty.
House owners (or landlords) are required to notify Immigration when a foreigner stays on their property.
Therefore, you will need to request a TM.30 receipt from your landlord.
Important Notes:
- Your address must be within the Bangkok Metropolitan Region (this includes Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, and Pathum Thani).
- You are required to update your TM.30 information if your reported check-out date expires or if you change your address.
- Ensure that your name, surname, and passport number are correct.
- Check-in Date must be updated whenever you receive a new arrival stamp. (You can use the application date as your check-in date.)
- Check-out Date: the remaining duration of stay on your TM.30 should be at least 30 days when you apply for a visa, a visa extension, or your 90-day notification. We recommend setting your check-out date for a period of 6 months to 1 year for convenience.
Remark: A delay in reporting TM.30 may result in a fine of 800-1,000 baht.
